Organized a huge Pradhan Mantri Fashal Beema Yojana Kisan Mela o n 13/4/2016. In this Mela 1123 Farmers/farm women participated with 38 extension functionaries and chaired by Honorable Agriculture Minister GoR, Sh. P.L. Saini.
The xi parthenium awareness week was celebrated by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Anta during 16-22 August 2016. The extension activities were organized by the centre is as below :-
Training programme : During the week, KVK organi zed 6 trainings for 247 farmer & farm women at KVK Anta as well as different villages like Niyana, Kotadi, Baingana, Sorsan and Akheri. In these programmes especially focus was given on parthenium eradication.
Other Extension Activity : In addition, this center was organized one farmers gosthi at Kotadi, 3 campaigns programme at Anta, Akheri and Niyana, 3 farmers meeting at Baingana, Baingani, Sorsan and 2 film shows in which 273 farmers/farm women were participated and effort were made to be eradication the parthenium plants or congress grass from their fields and nearby canal which are very harmful to the animals, human beings and crops. Looking the importance of this plant a popular article on integrated control of congress grass was published during the week.
